"We deeply long for connection, to be seen and known for who we are without rejection. Yet, we are often terrified of the vulnerability required to experience that true connection." – Curt Thompson, The Soul of Shame
Do you ever wonder if your presence truly matters? Are you quick to offer grace and compassion to others, yet find it difficult to extend the same kindness to yourself? Perhaps you long to be fully seen and loved for who you really are, but the idea of being vulnerable feels overwhelming, or maybe you're unsure where to even begin. And maybe, in the midst of it all, you’re still discovering who you truly are. Therapy offers a supportive space where you can explore these questions, gain clarity, and grow into a more authentic and fulfilling life.
In our sessions, we’ll focus on you as a whole—mind, body, and spirit—building a foundation of trust and safety from which to explore your story. I believe that within each of us lies the potential for hope, resilience, and transformation. The decision to seek therapy is a powerful act of strength and commitment to your own well-being.
My therapeutic approach is experiential, emotionally focused, and rooted in attachment theory, drawing from a variety of evidence-based techniques. I’m also well-versed in the Enneagram, which I find to be a valuable tool for self-discovery and understanding relationships. In addition, I’ve personally navigated deep questions of faith and found peace in Christianity, and I’m here to support you in your own spiritual journey, should you choose to explore it.
It’s essential to feel at ease with your therapist, and I’d love to offer you a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit for working together. Let’s begin the journey toward your true self, together.
